The poor review is mostly due to length

I read the free sample and was hooked. So I bought this on Amazon for $1.50. Thirty minutes later I was done. The poor review is mostly due to length. This really felt like an extended sample. I don't really understand anything. Not sure I like any of the characters. Sandra had this really uncharacteristic like response to someone and then the book ends. This isn't a complete book. Maybe a novella, but those are usually just really short complete stories. Which this is not. Not worth the $1.50 I paid.
Part of the Kindle Description says, "After all, they've awoken a part of her she never thought existed, but will that part end up killing her when the King of their land figures out who and what she really is?"
Except none of that happens. She hates it there, she doesn't like anyone and nothing has been awoken in her. Because this plot is totally predictable, I know WHAT she is...but she doesn't yet. So I wonder if part of the book is missing. This just doesn't feel complete.

A peculiar addiction

Just as the quick rhythm of the story begins to unfold...poof! You're now addicted to the odd tale and it ends! This is really one those stories you should look to see if the author has released them all or you will want to stab someone when left hanging. While I find the grammatical errors annoying, they were not enough for me to not be able to deduce the author's intent-and certainly not enough to quell my growing interest in the story. While it's sad that a writer would allow these mistakes to be published I still find I appreciate the gift of it being told. So enjoy the ribald comments, descriptive eye candy, magical parallel Victorian world, and of course men with a penchant to wear leather!

I liked this story

Couple of issues. The first was the grammar and missing words. It was a little jarring, and made the story harder to read. That being said the thing that annoyed me the most was the cliffhanger ending. I was reading along thinking okay this is getting intense then bam all done. And the worse thing is that now I have to wait to figure out what is going to happen. Now the things I liked about the story, it was a different concept, a fresh take that I found interesting, which is probably why I was so annoyed with the cliffhanger, I wasn't ready for the story to end. Overall I have to say that it was worth the price.
