Not the best one I've read ...

This one truly wasn't the best one of the series. Rather than continuing the storylines of the main characters from the last 3 books you got a smattering of their stories, then you have a 'let's get to know' the next group of student nurses, and characters. You then get to see what of those new people are plucky, silly, sulky, vain, or in need of a good old fashioned comeuppance.
This spent more time getting the new storylines setup and less time spent finishing the ones she had going. She really did little to finish Millie's story - so much to work with yet it was given such a postscript. What a shame.

Nursing School was from sun up to sun down and then some.

Enjoyed reading this series that takes place during a time when women were just beginning to believe in being successful on their own abilities. Manners were expected, courting was still the norm and a man' or a woman's reputation was very important to them. Love this time era.
